Super 32 New Jersey Wrestlers

Sometimes the entries on this site really baffle me. We know Anthony Knox is the top seed at 120. He’s a past Super 32 champion, a 2-time NJ state champion, and last year’s runner-up here at 113. Yet, he’s not in this table because when you sort by state, he disappears but when you sort by Super 32 finish, he shows up. Anyway, he’s clearly the leader of the Garden State contingent heading south next week. His top challenger figures to be last year’s 106 champ, Christian Castillo.

After Knox, there’s a lot of talent from this state who should be highly competitive and in the title mix.

Delbarton High alone has the 2 seed at 165 and the top seed at 175. That’s Alessio Perentin and Louie Cerchio respectively.

State champ Henrich is certainly a top contender but the top of 157 is as studly as it gets. He should still fair well.

Most people know Harvey Ludington and how dominant he can be, he’ll have a chance to announce himself even louder against the 190 field that is premier.

And finally, we always have to mention the world champ Paul Kenny. A favorite to pick up state title #1 this season, he’s certainly expected to reach the finals.

I’ll have a more in depth preview of New Jersey later.
